Sourcing candidates is the first and a very important step after the job is created in Webbtree. Webbtree provides multiple features that help you source candidates more effectively, like, search toolbox, Webbtree's Chrome extension, social sharing of job posts and integrating the careers site with your official website.
We have explained in brief about each feature below:
Search Toolbox: Webbtree comes with a search toolbox that allows you to search for publicly available profile from various platforms by X-Ray searching across the web. You can choose a platform from the platforms that search toolbox allows searching from and fill in the different parameters to perform a search. Once you hit 'search', Webbtree will X-Ray search for profiles from the platform that you have selected and get you links to those profiles. Now you can visit these profiles and see if they are relevant. So now, you can get rid of the process of building boolean strings for each platform and simply let Webbtree do the repetitive work for you.
Webbtree Chrome Extension: Use the Webbtree's Chrome extension to scrape a profile from platforms like Linkedin, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Facebook, etc. or simply add profile into Webbtree from any platform which is not compatible with the extension without changing tabs. Enrich these profiles for their contact details and tag them to a job through the extension without going back to Webbtree.
Social Sharing: You can now share any job as a post on social media platforms or share a link to apply for the job by copying the link or sharing it on WhatsApp. To do this:
Select the job which you wish to share as a post.
Go into the settings tab of the job and select the 'Attract Candidate' setting.
On this page you can see the options of different platforms on which to share. Select the platform and you would be redirected there and you can share the post that is ready
Integrating careers site: You can integrate the Webbtree's careers page that displays your open positions and allows candidates to apply for the jobs with your official website using an iframe, which requires a few lines or code, or using our APIs so that you can format these open jobs names as per your website's style. clicking on these jobs would redirect the candidate
